Cenveo, a leading North American envelope manufacturer, is hiring 3rd shift Skilled Machine Operators (Machine Adjuster Level 1) for our Smyrna, GA facility.
This is a highly technical role requiring hands-on mechanical experience. Candidates should have experience with machine setup, changeovers, troubleshooting, and equipment adjustments.
Automotive technicians with engine and transmission repair experience are encouraged to apply.
Schedule & Pay
- Hourly Rate: $21-25/hr depending on experience + shift premium
- Shift Differential: $1.35/hr 3rd shift
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 3rd shift (11pm - 7am); overtime and Saturdays as needed
- Training is on 1st shift (7 AM – 3:00 PM)
- Opportunity for advancement to Machine Adjuster with increased earning potential.
- Shift assignments may vary based on operational needs and availability.
What You'll Do
- Learn to set up, adjust, and operate high-speed envelope manufacturing equipment.
- Learn machine timing, part installation/removal, and complete product changeovers.
- Troubleshoot equipment and support production quality and efficiency.
- Maintain a safe, clean work area and follow all safety procedures.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of hands-on mechanical, industrial, automotive, or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Proven ability to set up, troubleshoot, repair, and optimize equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer, math, and measurement skills, including reading a ruler accurately.
- Flexibility to work on various machine platforms as needed.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 55 lbs.
- Comfortable working around high-speed production equipment, noise, and manufacturing materials.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and remain alert throughout the shift.
