About the Role: TrueREST Float Spa Alexandria is looking for a passionate and welcoming Float Consultant to join our team in Alexandria, VA! In this role, you'll be the face of our wellness center, guiding clients through transformative float therapy experiences and helping them discover the power of relaxation and mindfulness. If you love people, wellness, and creating exceptional experiences, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:- Greet and check in clients, providing a warm and professional float therapy experience from start to finish
- Educate new and returning clients on float therapy benefits, protocols, and best practices
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of float tanks, pods, and treatment rooms to health and safety standards
- Schedule appointments, process payments, and manage front desk operations
- Upsell memberships, packages, and retail wellness products to enhance client wellness journeys
- Monitor and maintain float tank water chemistry and equipment functionality
- Respond to client inquiries in person, by phone, and via email with professionalism and care
Requirements:- Prior customer service, wellness, or spa/hospitality experience preferred
- Passion for health, wellness, and holistic therapies
- Strong communication skills and a naturally warm, client-centered demeanor
- Ability to uphold and maintain cleanliness expectations including cleaning rooms between clients.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable with retail sales and membership consultations
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Ability to lift up to 55 pounds
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
