Full Stack Developer /Application Developer
Location: Dulles, VA
Must have an active Public Trust Security Clearance
Node.Digital is supporting a U.S. Government customer on a large mission critical development and sustainment program to design, build, deliver, and operate a network operations environment, including introducing new cyber capabilities to address emerging threats.
Node. Digital is seeking a Full Stack Developer to support the design, development, and deployment of advanced cybersecurity capabilities. The Full Stack Developer will play a pivotal role in our organization's technology team.
Responsibilities:
•Full Stack Development
oDevelop, maintain, and enhance front-end and back-end components of web applications.
oAutomated testing and smoke testing familiarity and implementation experience.
oPerform unit and integration testing to ensure software quality.
oOptimize application for speed and scalability.
oCollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and refine software requirements.
oWrite clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
oTroubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues.
oHandle authentication, authorization, and session management.
oIntegrate with third-party services (e.g., payment processors, external APIs).
•DevOps and Deployment
oSet up and manage CI/CD pipelines.
oDeploy applications to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
oMonitor application performance and reliability.
oHandle version control using Git and platforms like GitHub/GitLab.
•Collaboration and Documentation
oCollaborate with DevOps, infrastructure, and development teams to ensure seamless integration.
oDocument code and infrastructure changes, processes, and best practices.
oParticipate in knowledge sharing and mentorship of team members.
oStay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
•Cybersecurity – Secure Coding Practices
oCreate secure code according to industry best practices.
oUse strong encryption algorithms for data in motion and data at rest.
oManage and handle credentials and secrets in a secure, authorized manner.
oUse correct error handling and logging within developed code.

•Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance within 1 year
•Must be able to obtain DHS Suitability
•8+ years of directly relevant software development experience required.
•Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, and NodeJS.
•Strong knowledge of front-end and back-end frameworks.
•Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
•Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
•Demonstrated experience and/or familiarity with one of more of the following: SQL, Oracle, MySQL, JBDC, etc.
•Demonstrated experience and/or familiarity with one of more of the following: Pytest, Jupyter, Java Spring, JUnit, Hibernate, JavaScript, ReactJs, etc.
•Experience leading multiple software development teams.
•Experience developing system performance, availability, scalability, manageability, and security requirements for mid- to large-scale programs.
•Experience with cloud computing, multimedia storage, knowledge databases and data-mining analytics.
•Agile development methodology experience required.
•Experience with Linux and/or Unix.
•Experience with Jenkins and/or CloudBees.

Required Education:
•Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline is required.
