Accounts Payable Supervisor

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to join our team! This full-time, on-site role in Burlington, NC, oversees the company’s accounts payable function. Day-to-day tasks include managing invoice processing, Monthly client billings, and vendor statements, and ensuring timely and accurate payments to suppliers and subcontractors. The role involves reconciling accounts payable ledger balances and supporting month-end and year-end project reports and closeout processes.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess basic accounting skills, including experience with QuickBooks and associated software.
• Candidates should have solid knowledge of finance and cash disbursement processes, including vendor payment workflows.
• Candidates should have excellent analytical skills to review invoices and reconciliations and identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Several years of accounts payable or accounting experience in a construction or project-based field would be beneficial.
• Demonstrated ability to manage deadlines, prioritize tasks, and maintain accuracy in a high-volume setting.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to company integrity and a team approach, are vital.
