About the Role:
JBD Grace Rochester Hills LLC is looking for a dedicated and skilled Med Tech to join our team in Rochester Hills, MI. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents every single day in a supportive and caring environment.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications to residents accurately and in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Document medication administration and report any changes in resident condition to nursing staff
- Monitor residents for medication side effects, reactions, and overall well-being
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medication records and medication administration records (MAR)
- Assist with resident care tasks as needed, including activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary care team members
- Ensure medication storage areas are organized, secure, and compliant with regulations
Requirements:
- Current Med Tech certification or Medication Aide certification in the state of Michigan
- Prior experience in a long-term care, assisted living, or senior care setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols
- Excellent attention to detail and accurate documentation skills
- Compassionate, patient, and resident-focused demeanor
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly
- Must pass a background check and meet all state licensing requirements
