Cooks

Legacy Tokyo is seeking a cook to join and expand our kitchen team. We are a Japanese restaurant serving authentic Japanese dishes, including rice bowls, curry, ramen, and street food.

Previous experience as a cook and/or familiarity with Japanese cuisine is preferred, but not required. We are looking for individuals who are open-minded, adaptable, detail-oriented, able to follow directions, work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, maintain strong work ethics, and bring a positive attitude to the team.

At this time, we can only hire individuals legally authorized to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Able to follow directions, recipes, and kitchen procedures consistently
• Experience in food preparation and cooking techniques (Experience in Japanese cuisine is a plus)
• Knowledge of food safety and kitchen standards
• Ability to manage a busy, clean kitchen and ensure high-quality food service
• Skills in inventory management and control
• ServSafe Food Manager Certificate is a plus

Job Type: Part-time (may consider full-time)

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour (open to negotiation)
