PACS Systems Analyst - Overlake Hospital Medical Center

Location: Bellevue, WA
Contract: 6 months
Start: ASAP
Openings: 1

We’re looking for a PACS Systems Analyst to join a healthcare imaging team supporting a large PACS migration.

A big part of this role will involve moving medical imaging data into a centralized PACS environment and making sure everything transfers correctly. You’ll monitor image transfers, troubleshoot issues when they come up, and work with internal technical teams, vendors, and end users to get problems resolved.

This isn’t just a migration project. You’ll also help with the day-to-day support of imaging applications used by radiology and cardiology teams. We’re looking for someone who is comfortable taking ownership of issues, troubleshooting independently, and following problems through to resolution.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Support a large-scale PACS and medical imaging data migration
  • Monitor and validate imaging data transfers
  • Troubleshoot PACS, DICOM, connectivity, and imaging workflow issues
  • Support radiology and cardiology imaging applications
  • Work directly with vendors and internal technical teams to resolve problems
  • Assist end users when imaging applications or workflows aren’t working properly
  • Investigate system performance issues and help identify solutions
  • Document issues, resolutions, and opportunities for improvement
  • Support ongoing PACS maintenance and optimization

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience supporting PACS, medical imaging, radiology, or cardiology applications
  • Experience with PACS migrations, imaging data transfers, integrations, or imaging archive projects
  • Working knowledge of DICOM
  • Healthcare, hospital, health system, or imaging center experience
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working with vendors, technical teams, and end users
  • Ability to independently own issues and drive them through resolution

Nice to Have

  • GE PACS experience
  • Philips Cardiology PACS experience
  • Experience migrating large imaging archives
  • Experience with healthcare mergers, acquisitions, or imaging system consolidations

Position Details

  • 6-month contract
  • ASAP start
  • Bellevue, Washington
  • One opening
  • 2 interview rounds, with the possibility of a third
  • There is a possibility of conversion to a permanent position, but it is not guaranteed

If you have hands-on PACS experience and have worked with medical imaging migrations and DICOM workflows, we’d like to hear from you.
