Clinical Manager

Responsibilities

• A well-established nonprofit hospice organization is seeking an experienced Clinical Manager to lead an interdisciplinary clinical team.

• This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate RN leader who is passionate about delivering high-quality hospice and palliative care while mentoring staff and supporting clinical excellence.

• Lead and support an interdisciplinary hospice care team

• Provide coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback to clinical staff

• Oversee daily clinical operations, staffing, and workload distribution

• Ensure compliance with Medicare, regulatory, and accreditation standards

• Support hospice eligibility reviews, symptom management, and care planning

• Conduct staff ride-alongs and competency evaluations

• Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives

• Collaborate with physicians and the clinical leadership team to ensure exceptional patient care

• Participate in a rotating administrative on-call schedule

Qualifications

• Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience

• At least 1 year of hospice, home health, palliative care, or related experience

• Minimum 1 year of healthcare leadership or supervisory experience

• Strong knowledge of hospice and palliative care, pain and symptom management

• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Preferred Qualifications

• Previous hospice leadership or clinical management experience

• Knowledge of Medicare Hospice Conditions of Participation, Joint Commission standards, and California hospice regulations

• Experience with Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI)

• Spanish language skills are a plus
