Job Description
About the Role

Lead the RF architecture for a next-generation high-power system designed to address unmanned aerial threats. This hands-on role sits within a small, growing defense engineering team and focuses on taking RF systems from clean-sheet design through production.

What You'll Do
  • Develop RF system architecture and guide designs through design for manufacturing and production.
  • Contribute directly to RF system, antenna, phased-array, MMIC, or electromagnetic design.
  • Use lab equipment and testing facilities to characterize and validate RF systems.
  • Apply first-principles engineering to solve high-power RF design and integration challenges.
  • Initially focus on individual-contributor engineering, then grow the RF team as the organization scales.
What We're Looking For
  • Five to twelve years of experience as an RF engineer, including hands-on design work.
  • Experience taking a clean-sheet RF lineup through DFM and into production.
  • Deep experience with high-power RF and analog RF systems.
  • Experience with phased arrays, at the system or component level, and practical use of a signal generator and VNA.
  • Relevant skills may include HFSS, antenna design and simulation, high-power GaN power amplifiers, MMIC design, anechoic chamber testing, and EMI/EMC.
  • A portfolio of shipped products or hands-on hardware projects, and eligibility to obtain a U.S. security clearance.
