JuniorGIS Developer
Fairfax, VA or Tampa, FL office.
This is a hybrid role with 3 days expected in office.
Responsibilities
- Work with senior developers to create internal and client-facing geospatial solutions within Esri and custom frameworks.
- Perform needs assessments to identify application and visualization requirements.
- Design data schemas.
- Develop user acceptance testing and documentation.
- Maintain and support applications according to changing business/mission requirements.
- Work on consulting projects for government and commercial clients.
- Participate in testing, supporting, and deploying tools and preparing technical documentation.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, GIS or other relevant geospatial or data science related field with 0-3 years of professional experience
- Experience with Python, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and/or React
- Desire to grow as a GIS developer
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving, verbal and written communication, design development, and debugging skills
- Ability to work independently using strong organizational skills and operate effectively in team settings using an agile software development approach and tools like Git/GitHub
- Be a U.S. citizen capable of passing a federal background investigation to obtain a Public Trust clearance
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with ArcGIS Enterprise and Azure or AWS systems.

The projected range for this position is $81,000-$104,000 annually in our Tampa, FL office.
