Our Client a global leader in the Chemical Industry seeks a process control specialist for their Peoria, Il area plant supporting locations at world wide locations.
Must be a US Citizen or hold a green card.
Bilingual in Spanish and English is desired.
1. Job Description and Scope of Responsibilities
The role is intended to support their plants in the areas of Process Control, Process Digitalization, and Automation. Its primary focus is on identifying, developing, and driving initiatives that improve operational performance through innovative technologies, digital capabilities, automation, and data-driven decision-making. It is not intended to be a traditional process control systems specialist position.
This is a global role reporting directly to the VP of Global Operations. The successful candidate will be expected to collaborate closely with the leaders responsible for the other pillars of the Global Manufacturing Excellence StrategyAsset Integrity & Reliability Excellence and Process & Production Excellencewhile leading initiatives related to Process Control, Process Digitalization, and Automation.
In addition, the role requires regular interaction with the Operations Directors and Plant Managers to understand site-specific needs, align priorities, and ensure that improvement initiatives support the broader operational objectives of the business.
2. Main Responsibilities
The key responsibilities are clearly defined in the Job Description and should be consistently communicated throughout the recruitment process.

Rather, we are looking for a professional capable of identifying opportunities, developing strategies, and leading initiatives that leverage digital technologies, automation, and advanced operational tools to enhance plant performance and promote a data-driven culture across our operations.
