Job Description

About the Role

CTK OTC Laboratories is seeking a Project Manager with at least 2 years of experience in cosmetic manufacturing to support multiple client projects from initial brief and request for quotation through sampling, production, and delivery. This is a hands-on, mid-level, client-facing role based in Corona, California for someone who understands the basic cosmetic product development process and can keep details, decisions, and follow-ups organized.

Working with guidance and support from the hiring manager, you will coordinate with clients, Sales, R&D, Packaging, Procurement, Production, Legal, vendors, and other internal partners. The right person is self-motivated, highly organized, responsive, and comfortable maintaining momentum across several projects at once. You will bring organization, momentum, and dependable follow-through to cosmetic product development and manufacturing.

What You'll Do

  • Maintain project tracking: keep timelines, milestone trackers, action lists, approvals, owners, and due dates current across multiple projects and SKUs
  • Coordinate cross-functional follow-up with internal teams, vendors, and clients so information and deliverables move to the right people on time
  • Support development and sampling: coordinate briefs, formula revisions, shade or fragrance direction, sample submissions, feedback, approvals, agreements, and change history
  • Manage client communication: prepare clear status updates, meeting recaps, decision requests, and follow-up messages with a professional, service-oriented tone
  • Track packaging and artwork: maintain component specifications, decoration details, artwork versions, approvals, and readiness updates
  • Support commercial details: track minimum order quantities, development fees, quotation assumptions, purchase-order status, lead times, and client responsibilities
  • Keep documentation reliable: maintain organized files, notes, approvals, client feedback, and decision history so the team can quickly find current information
  • Follow through with urgency: move time-sensitive work forward, follow up consistently, and keep the hiring manager informed when input or a decision is needed
  • Stay organized across priorities: manage several projects at different stages without losing detail, deadlines, or commitments
  • Work with initiative: take responsibility for assigned actions, prepare the next step, and use available guidance and resources to keep work moving
  • Represent the team professionally: build client confidence through responsive communication, careful preparation, and accurate follow-through
  • Adapt as projects change: remain composed and solutions-focused when priorities, requirements, or timelines shift
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the hiring manager

Education & Experience

  • Basic understanding of the cosmetic product development process, including client brief or request for quotation, development and sampling, approvals, production, and delivery
  • Experience communicating directly with clients and providing clear, professional updates and follow-up
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience preferred but not required

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines at the same time
  • Self-motivated work style, dependable follow-through, and a strong sense of urgency
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, including accurate meeting notes, recaps, and action items
  • Comfort using spreadsheets, shared trackers, project-management tools, and organized file systems
  • Strong attention to detail, sound judgment about when to ask for guidance, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to create order, keep people informed, and make steady progress while learning the business with support from a close-knit team
  • Effective communication with Sales, R&D, Packaging, Procurement, Production, Legal, and external clients and vendors
  • Bilingual English/Korean or English/Spanish is a plus
