Registered Nurse (RN) Staff Educator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Staff Educator to join our team at Creekside Post Acute in Hopewell, VA. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for providing education and training to our staff, analyzing and evaluating nursing care, and ensuring the highest standards of quality care are maintained.

Responsibilities:

• Function as a Liaison between the facility and community education resources
• Work in conjunction with the DON/ADON to provide education related to quality assurance data conversion and evaluation for the QA program
• Analyze and evaluate nursing care of employees during probationary period to assure the standards of nursing practice are of the highest quality
• Supervise, train, and have orientation for all staff

Requirements:

• Current RN licensure in the state where you reside (VA)
• Experience in a post-acute care setting in a leadership or educational role
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
