Inventory Control & Warehouse Team Lead

Location: Beverly, MA

Pay: $35–$36 per hour

Shifts: 6:00 AM–2:30 PM and 2:00 PM–10:30 PM

Why this role exists

We’re scaling, and we need a full-time leader who can turn growth into disciplined execution. Your mission is to stabilize, standardize, and continuously improve stockroom and distribution operations.

• Operational foundation: establish and enforce warehouse/stockroom processes, personnel policies, and SOPs.
• Performance excellence: implement standards for productivity, quality, production, and customer service; troubleshoot issues; and drive process and system improvements.
• People leadership: directly supervise assigned teams; hire, train, coach, counsel, conduct reviews, and manage disciplinary actions and terminations.
• Safety & security: put in place and monitor protocols that safeguard people, product, and facility.
• Inventory precision: ensure SOP compliance; run cycle counts; reconcile variances in WMS; implement corrective actions.
• Facility readiness: plan and execute improvements to maintain the warehouse’s physical condition.
• Space optimization: consolidate and organize for best-possible space utilization; maintain proper product rotation.
• Administration: complete all required records and reports accurately and on time.
• Operational support: assist with shipping, packing, loading, unloading, and sorting as needed.
• Project work: support initiatives assigned by your direct Manager; other duties as assigned.

• 3+ years supervising in a warehouse environment.
• ERP system experience.
• Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook proficiency.
• Exposure to kitting, manufacturing work orders, and stockroom material flow.
• Knowledge of materials documentation: BOL, packing slips, invoices, pick lists, and manufacturing orders.
• Inventory control background: SOP adherence, error checking, cycle counts, physical inventories, and reporting.
• Experience partnering with UPS, FedEx, trucking carriers, and 3PL/4PL providers.
• History of leading teams of 10+ associates.
• Developed and implemented SOPs, job aids, and training content.

• Integrity, accountability, and a strong work ethic.
• Works independently with minimal direction; collaborates effectively with teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong interpersonal skills.
• Adaptable in a fast-paced setting; able to re-prioritize quickly.
• Overtime flexibility, including availability for Saturdays based on business needs.
• Physical: lift up to 50 lbs; operate MHE; stand for ~70% of the shift; sit as needed.
• Technical tasks: set up production kits; verify parts and quantities to BOM, subs, equipment & fixtures.
• Required participation in physical inventories.
• Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct warehouse/stockroom issues.

Full-time role aligned to first shift with overtime as required to support mission needs. Coverage of the listed shifts and occasional Saturdays is expected.
