Driver

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Driver to join our team. If you are looking for a way to put your safe driving skills to work, then this is the perfect job for you. Fat Lip Customs commercial driver position is responsible for the delivery/pick up of vehicles and parts to our customers. You don't have to use your own vehicle, and no Commercial Driver’s License is required. You will assist daily with moving vehicles and parts around the metroplex to our business and retail customers. Candidate will need excellent customer service skills and will need to always maintain a professional and presentable appearance. Candidate will be required to maintain the appearance of new and used vehicles and perform basic maintenance such as refilling of gas or charging vehicles daily so attention to detail is vital. Clean Driving Record, valid Driver’s License, and ability to pass a drug test are required. This role requires strong driving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed. Responsibilities

• Operate various types of vehicles including vans, box trucks, and commercial vehicles for deliveries.
• Execute route driving efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Ensure cleanliness and appearance of vehicles inside and outside.
• Load and unload goods when necessary, ensuring safe handling during transportation.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
• Communicate effectively with staff and customers.
• Assist with moving other items within as needed.
• Maintain a safe driving and working environment.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, dress code, and management direction.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Must be at at least 18 years old.
• Experience in moving, courier services, or as a delivery driver is preferred.
• Familiarity with route driving and knowledge of local roads is an advantage.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) and physical tasks associated with loading/unloading goods.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, decision-making skills and a customer-focused attitude.
• Must maintain professional appearance.
• Must be able to maintain a regular Monday through Friday 8-5 shift.
• Must be able to arrive on time for shift and be able to self manage efficiently.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work daily.
