Your day in the fieldPicture this: you arrive on site, review the engineering package, and map out how the communications racks will come togethersometimes wall-mounted, sometimes a full multi-rack build. You lay in critical power and grounding, set cable trays and conduits, and prepare every pathway so installation runs smoothly. As the day unfolds, you might route and terminate fiber, place telecom cabling, mount LTE antennas, or install sensors, radios, computers, and supporting communications systemsoften in fast-paced, outdoor environments where the weather can change quickly.
When systems power up, your troubleshooting instincts take over. Using schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals, you test, align, calibrate, and repair communications and audio equipmentdown to the component level when needed. You support testing, verification, inspections, and commissioning until every system performs as designed. Along the way, you keep field documentation sharp with redline updates, and you tackle additional installation and technical support tasks as assigned.
