RESTORATIVE AIDE (CNA), Full Time – Neighbors Health Center, Byron, Illinois

Neighbors Health Center in Byron, Illinois, has an Immediate Opening for a Restorative Aide. Must be a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant).

This is a Full-Time opportunity with a 6a-2:30pm schedule, Four Days a Week, Plus Every Other Weekend.

Responsibilities of the Restorative Aide (CNA):

• Collaborate with our Director of Restorative Services

• Assist with rehabilitation and maintenance of our residents' life skills

• Work with restorative team to help our residents achieve their highest level of functioning

• Maintain resident documentation, records and charts to ensure an accurate, up-to-date account of the residents' medical treatments

Requirements Restorative Aide (CNA):

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), license from the State of Illinois

• High School Diploma

• Restorative experience

• Restorative Nursing Certification a plus, but not required

• Experience in Long-Term Care desirable

• Knowledge of laws and regulations in terms of Long Term Care preferred

• High level of professionalism and confidentiality

• Must have compassion, tolerance and understanding of older adults
