Production Associate

We are hiring Production Associates to support operations within a fast-paced automotive glass manufacturing facility. This position works directly within the production environment and may be assigned to different production areas based on operational needs.

Production Associates will complete an initial orientation and training period before being assigned to a specific department or production area.

What You’ll Do

• Work on various production and manufacturing lines
• Load and unload automotive glass from conveyors and production equipment
• Visually inspect products for quality and defects
• Pack finished products into racks for movement or shipment
• Move and organize product and material throughout the production area
• Band and secure product racks according to specifications
• Operate production equipment and machinery as trained and authorized
• Perform basic equipment adjustments or minor troubleshooting as directed
• Complete required production and quality documentation
• Follow all safety, quality, attendance, and performance standards
• Participate in training and continuous-improvement activities
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Work Environment

This is a hands-on manufacturing position in an automotive glass production facility. The work environment may be hot, noisy, and physically demanding, and employees will work around production machinery and industrial equipment.

Employees should be comfortable with:

• Standing for extended periods
• Frequent walking throughout the production area
• Repetitive hand and arm movements
• Bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, and pulling
• Handling and moving production materials
• Working around powered equipment and machinery
• Exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, dust, fumes, and typical manufacturing conditions

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

• Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team
• Basic computer skills preferred
• Ability to successfully complete required pre-employment screening

Physical Requirements

Schedule

• Day and night shift opportunities may be available
• Shift schedules will vary based on production needs
• Overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required depending on production demands
