Materials Handler

Job Title: Materials HandlerLocation: Clinton, TennesseeType: 6 month ContractCompensation: $18.42Work Model: Onsite – onsite

Responsibilities

• Provide integrated packaging, transportation, and multimodal logistics solutions for radioactive, hazardous, and environmentally sensitive waste materials.
• Utilize custom and patented flexible and metal containers (such as IP-1, Type A, and railcar lift liners) to safely load and secure hazardous or radioactive materials.
• Assist with transferring bulk, packaged, or oversized waste materials between trucks, railcars, and marine vessels at specialized transload facilities.
• Operate material handling equipment (such as forklifts, cranes, or heavy machinery) to organize, stage, and track shipments heading to specialized disposal facilities.
• Work under rigorous Department of Energy (DOE), Department of Transportation (DOT), and internal Quality Assurance guidelines to prevent contamination or unsafe transport conditions.
