Production Operator - Packaging & Quality Inspection (2nd Shift)

Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Manufacturing Production Associates - Packaging & Inspection for a contract opportunity in Marion, NC.

Shift Available

2nd Shift

• 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM
• 2:45 PM - 10:45 PM
• 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Schedule varies based on department assignment.

What You'll Do

As a Manufacturing Production Associate, you will:

• Inspect filled medical solution bags and packaging for quality and compliance
• Over-pouch and seal products according to production requirements
• Perform routine quality checks using gauges, scales, and other measurement tools
• Document inspections, cleaning activities, and production records accurately
• Identify and report quality, safety, equipment, or process issues
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment using 6S principles
• Help ensure products meet the highest standards before reaching patients
  

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic English reading, writing, and communication skills
• Ability to read and understand written work instructions, diagrams, and safety procedures
• Basic math skills
• Ability to obtain Inspector Certification
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ year of manufacturing, production, packaging, assembly, or warehouse experience
• Career Readiness Certificate (CRC) - Silver Level or higher
• Experience working in a quality-focused or regulated manufacturing environment
  

Work Environment

This position operates in a controlled manufacturing environment and requires the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including:

• Safety glasses
• Safety shoes
• Ear protection
• Hairnet and beard cover (if applicable)

Additional considerations:

• Exposure to manufacturing equipment and moving machinery
• Moderate to high noise levels
• Use of approved cleaning agents and disinfectants
• Standing and performing repetitive tasks throughout the shift
