Salad Spot is looking for an experienced Assistant Manager – Restaurant who enjoys leading people, creating a strong team culture, and helping a growing restaurant succeed.

This opportunity is ideal for a current Assistant Manager, Shift Leader, or experienced restaurant supervisor who is ready to take the next step in their leadership career. You’ll play a key role in supporting daily operations, developing team members, and helping create an environment where employees and guests have a great experience.

Your Role as an Assistant Manager – Restaurant

As an Assistant Manager – Restaurant, you will work alongside the leadership team to ensure the restaurant operates smoothly while creating a positive experience for both guests and employees.

You will help lead:

• Daily restaurant operations, including opening, closing, and shift execution
• Team coaching, training, and employee development
• Guest service standards and issue resolution
• Food quality, safety, cleanliness, and operational excellence
• Team communication and accountability
• Inventory management, ordering, and cost awareness
• Scheduling support and labor management
• Cash handling procedures and POS system processes

This is a hands-on leadership role. The right candidate will be comfortable working alongside the team, supporting busy service periods, and setting the example for others to follow.

What Makes a Great Assistant Manager – Restaurant

We are looking for someone who:

• Has previous restaurant management, assistant manager, or shift supervisor experience
• Enjoys coaching and developing team members
• Can motivate a team while maintaining accountability
• Communicates clearly and professionally
• Thrives in a fast-paced restaurant environment
• Can manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
• Understands the importance of excellent customer service
• Has experience with restaurant operations, scheduling, inventory, and cash management
• Is willing to jump in and support the team wherever needed
• Experience in fast-casual restaurants, quick-service restaurants (QSR), or high-volume food service environments is preferred.
