Service Dispatcher

Dispatch commercial cooking equipment servicetechnicians to customer locations based on urgency and availability - Coordinate and schedule service appointments for customers - Monitor and track the progress of service calls to ensure timely completion - Communicate with customers to provide updates on technician arrival times and any delays - Maintain accurate records of service calls, including customer information, technician assignments, and job details - Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient use of resources and resolve any scheduling conflicts - Utilize GPS technology to optimize routes and minimize travel time - Coordinate with shipping and receiving departments to manage inventory and ensure timely delivery of goods - Assist with data entry tasks related to service orders, customer information, and inventory management. Qualifications: - Previous experience in service dispatching is preferred - Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Proficient in data entry and computer systems - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously - Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in record keeping. This job does require taking calls and dispatching after hours on a rotating basis.
