Schedule & Pay
- Schedule: 4–5 days per week
- Shift Length: 6–8 hours per shift
- Pay: Competitive pay based on qualifications and experience
- Payroll: Weekly pay
- Location: Charleston, SC
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and personal care as needed.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
- Offer reminders for medications according to the care plan.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment.
- Follow the client's individualized care plan and agency policies.
- Communicate client needs, changes in condition, and concerns to the office promptly.
- Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and reliable attendance.
Requirements
- Must be a non-smoker.
- Must have a reliable personal vehicle and dependable transportation to and from the client's home.
- Must be willing to complete a drug screening and background check.
- Must attend and successfully complete a meet-and-greet with the client or family before placement.
- Must attend required agency orientation.
- Must demonstrate reliability, compassion, professionalism, and strong communication skills.
- Previous caregiving experience is preferred.
