General Production Worker

Production / Metal Finishing Associate Clackamas, OR

Pay: $20/hr

Shift: Day Shift, 7:00 AM 3:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Retrieve truck parts from boxes and prepare them for processing.
• Buff and polish parts using sanders and other hand tools.
• Deburr and grind metal parts to remove imperfections and create smooth finishes.
• Perform repetitive production tasks while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Comfortable working in a foundry/manufacturing environment that can get warm, especially during the summer.
• Willing to perform physically demanding work throughout the shift.
• Comfortable with repetitive, hands-on tasks.
• Interested in learning new skills and growing within a unionized manufacturing environment.
• Safety-minded and comfortable working around industrial machinery and equipment.

Work Environment: This is a medium-sized manufacturing facility with approximately 5075 employees. The company manufactures commercial automotive components used on semi-trailers and specializes in wheel ends, aluminum castings, and plastic components.

The facility is an industrial metals manufacturing environment, so the shop can be dirty and employees will work around industrial equipment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clackamas, OR.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
