JOB DESCRIPTION: Manufacturing Associate
POSITION SUMMARY
Haley Strategic Partners is seeking a motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented Manufacturing Associate to join our production team. This is an entry-level position, and no prior manufacturing experience is required. Comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided to safely operate laser cutters, knife cutters, and other production equipment.
The Manufacturing Associate will support daily production operations by preparing materials according to work order specifications, inspecting incoming inventory, fulfilling production and shipping requirements, and maintaining accurate inventory counts. This role also helps ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
The ideal candidate is reliable, eager to learn, comfortable working in a hands-on environment, and able to work collaboratively to meet production goals. This position reports to the Materials Manager and Production Manager.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare, stage, and process materials according to work order specifications.
- Learn to safely operate laser cutters, knife cutters, and other manufacturing equipment through on-the-job training.
- Follow established work instructions, production procedures, and safety requirements.
- Inspect incoming materials and inventory for quality, accuracy, and conformance to specifications.
- Accurately track inventory, perform cycle counts, and report discrepancies.
- Prepare, package, and stage production orders and shipments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient production and warehouse environment.
- Follow established procedures for material handling, equipment operation, and workplace safety.
- Work collaboratively with team members to complete daily tasks and meet production schedules.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to safely operate in a sewing production facility including ability to learn the proper usage of production equipment(laser cutters, clicker presses, hot/cold knife cutters and other manufacturing equipment)*
- Ability to follow instructions and ability to learn to identifytextile materials and interpret BOMs (Bill of Materials) and TDPs (Technical Design Packages)*
- Ability to stand for long durations of time at various production machinery
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to work 40 Hours per week
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
*Prior textile manufacturing experience is not required for this entry level position, all necessary training to perform job responsibilities will be provided on site.
