About the Role: Vermont Home Center is looking for a dependable and skilled Lead Delivery Driver to join our team in Waterbury, VT. This is a hands-on role where you'll be the face of our company delivering and installing products directly into customers' homes with professionalism and care. Responsibilities:- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport and deliver home products to residential and commercial customers
- Perform professional installation of delivered products in customers' homes
- Lead and coordinate with delivery team members to ensure efficient, on-time deliveries
- Inspect products before and after transport to ensure damage-free delivery
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding delivery windows, installation processes, and product use
- Maintain a clean, organized, and properly loaded delivery vehicle
- Complete delivery documentation, logs, and route sheets accurately
Requirements:- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Prior experience in delivery driving, product installation, or a related trade
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (50+ lbs) and perform physical labor throughout the day
- Strong customer service skills and a professional, friendly demeanor
- Experience leading or working with a small team preferred
- Basic mechanical or installation aptitude with hand and power tools
- Highly reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
