Selective Demolition & Remodeling Specialist
Location: Redbird, OK | Compensation: $18.00/hr
A day in this role
Sun-up in Redbird, and you’re walking into an upcoming construction site ready to make progress. You’ll start by staging tools, reviewing the plan, and then get to workcarefully removing what needs to go and rebuilding what comes next. Over the course of the day you might demo a wall, hang and finish new drywall, swap out flooring, prep surfaces, and lay on a clean coat of paint. You’ll wrap by tidying the site so tomorrow’s work begins fast and safe.
What you’ll tackle
- Demolition tasks: remove drywall, flooring, fixtures, and job debris.
- Drywall work: install, repair, and finish sheetrock to a smooth, paint-ready surface.
- Flooring: take up existing materials and install new floor coverings.
- Painting: interior/exterior prep and finish coats.
- General renovation support across remodeling and construction activities.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout the shift.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and responsibly.
What you bring
- Hands-on experience in demolition, renovation, sheetrock/drywall, flooring, and painting.
- Comfort with basic construction tools and equipment.
- Physical ability to lift, bend, stand, and perform manual labor for the full workday.
- Reliable transportation and consistent, on-time attendance.
- Can-do attitudeable to work solo or alongside a crew.
- Strong work ethic and precise attention to detail.
