Detroit Bodyguards Protection Unit, LLC is seeking the position of Security Officers. Our Security Officers embrace our company’s core values.
As a Professional Security Officer for Detroit Bodyguards Protection Unit, LLC you will be Responsible for the Safety and Security of our Client’s property and personnel. You be will also be responsible to familiarize yourself with all site-specific policies and procedures, and implement emergency response activities as appropriate, while providing superior customer service.
Duties and Responsibilities
Patrol premises and monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas.
Identify and report safety hazards, vandalism, and suspicious or criminal activity.
Screen individuals using detection devices and verify authorized access.
Enforce site rules, address disturbances, and direct individuals to leave when necessary, following site procedures.
Respond calmly and professionally to emergencies.
Complete incident and activity reports using a computer or smartphone.
Qualifications and Requirements
At least 21 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
Eligible to work in the United States and able to pass a criminal background check.
Meet applicable Michigan firearm licensing requirements and possess a conceal carry license (CPL).
Must have a registered firearm.
Strong communication, listening, observation, and decision-making skills.
Dependable, punctual, self-motivated, and able to work independently while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
Able to stand and walk on various surfaces for extended periods.
Reliable transportation to assigned work locations; public or private transportation is acceptable.
One year of customer service experience preferred.
Schedule and Work Locations
Assignments may include one or multiple client sites.
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
