Role snapshot
- Location: Amarillo, TX
- Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Pay: $17–$18 per hour, DOE
- Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
What you’ll handle
- End-to-end AP: receive, verify, and process vendor invoices and payments
- Recordkeeping: enter and maintain accurate financial data and support files
- Reconciliations: balance vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Vendor care: answer invoice, payment, and account questions
- AR backup: assist with invoicing and collections when needed
- Tools: leverage accounting software plus Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Team support: jump in to help the accounting group with ad hoc tasks
What makes you a fit
- 1+ year of recent AP, bookkeeping, or related accounting experience
- High accuracy and detail orientation with numbers
- Time-management strengths and organized work habits
- Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and Word; accounting software experience preferred
- Strong communicator and practical problem solver
- Dependable and comfortable working independently
