We're looking for a Store Counter Sales Representative who is knowledgeable, dependable, customer-focused, and ready to become a trusted resource for our customers.

This is more than a counter job. You'll help customers find the right parts, provide product recommendations, support commercial customers, and build relationships that keep customers coming back.

What You'll Do

As a Store Counter Sales Representative, you'll be the face of Auto Value for customers in the store and over the phone. You'll combine automotive knowledge and customer service skills to make sure customers get the right products and a great experience.

• Help Customers Find the Right Parts: Use product knowledge and parts catalogs to identify the right parts and solutions

• Build Relationships: Develop strong relationships with retail and commercial customers

• Sell & Recommend: Identify customer needs, recommend products and accessories, and promote current sales programs

• Be the Automotive Resource: Assist customers with parts questions, paint mixing, returns, and non-application parts

• Support Commercial Customers: Answer phones, assist with orders, and support commercial delivery needs

• Create a Great Customer Experience: Greet customers, listen to their needs, solve problems, and make sure they leave satisfied

• Process Sales: Accurately process transactions while following established store procedures

• Keep the Store Moving: Assist with freight check-in, labeling, inventory, deliveries, and maintaining a clean and organized store

• Work as a Team: Partner with store leadership and teammates to provide excellent customer service and support store goals

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is dependable, knowledgeable, customer-focused, and ready to contribute.

You may be a great fit if you:

• Have automotive parts knowledge or previous automotive industry experience

• Enjoy working with customers and solving problems

• Have strong communication and customer service skills

• Are comfortable recommending products and identifying customer needs

• Can navigate paper and digital parts catalogs

• Have experience with point-of-sale systems or are comfortable learning new technology

• Can work independently while contributing to a team

• Have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record

• Are willing to learn and follow established procedures

Automotive parts experience is strongly preferred, but we're willing to train the right person who brings the right attitude, work ethic, and willingness to learn.
