A historic mountain resort is seeking dependable Butler Style Servers and Bussers to support exceptional service at weddings, receptions, and private events. This hands-on role helps keep event spaces elegant, organized, and guest-ready throughout each function.
Working closely with banquet servers and the culinary team, you will provide prompt, discreet support that allows service to flow smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with event setup, including tables, chairs, linens, place settings, and service stations.
- Clear used plates, glassware, silverware, and other items promptly and quietly, following service cues.
- Reset tables and replenish service supplies as directed.
- Support servers with water service, bread service, and other assigned guest needs.
- Transport dishes and glassware safely to designated dishwashing areas.
- Keep service stations, event spaces, and surrounding work areas clean and organized.
- Assist with spills and report hazards promptly.
- Support event breakdown, equipment storage, and room resets.
- Handle resort furnishings, historic interiors, and event equipment with care.
- Follow sanitation procedures and maintain a neat, professional appearance.
Qualifications
- Hospitality, restaurant, or event experience is helpful; training is available.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to take direction.
- Attention to detail and awareness of guests and coworkers during service.
- Ability to work efficiently as part of a team.
- Availability for evenings, weekends, holidays, and varying event schedules.
- Ability to perform essential duties, including prolonged standing, walking, bending, and moving service equipment, with or without reasonable accommodation.
