Hand Grenade Hauling LLC is seeking dependable, safety-conscious, and motivated drivers to join our growing transportation team. We take pride in providing reliable freight transportation services while maintaining high standards of professionalism, integrity, safety, and customer satisfaction.

We are currently recruiting for two driving opportunities:

Full-Time OTR Drivers: Seeking experienced drivers willing to remain on the road for approximately three weeks at a time, transporting freight across multiple states.

Part-Time / Weekend Drivers: Seeking dependable and flexible drivers interested in running loads primarily on weekends, with additional opportunities during weekdays, holidays, and scheduled driver vacations. Drivers may also be called upon to fill in for driver absences or assist with additional freight demands. Assignments are based on load availability and operational needs. This opportunity is ideal for individuals looking to earn supplemental income while maintaining a flexible schedule.

Important: Weekend loads are not guaranteed and depend on customer demand and available freight.

Compensation & Incentives

• Competitive Percentage Pay: Earn 18-20% of gross load revenue for every completed load, with opportunities for increases based on performance and tenure.
• Quarterly Performance Bonus: Eligible to earn up to $250 based on safety compliance, violation-free performance, and on-time delivery metrics.
• Weekly Payments: Payroll is processed Wednesday evenings, with payments typically received Thursday or Friday.
• No Holding Week: Get paid during the same weekly settlement cycle for eligible completed loads.
• 1099 Independent Contractor Position: Taxes are not withheld, and traditional employee benefits are not provided.
• Weekend Opportunities: Additional earning potential for part-time drivers when freight is available.

Driver Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 26-foot non-CDL box truck.
• Transport freight efficiently while meeting scheduled pickup and delivery appointments.
• Properly secure, load, and unload cargo as required.
• Maintain accurate electronic Hours of Service (HOS) records in accordance with applicable FMCSA regulations.
• Complete daily pre-trip inspections and report mechanical concerns immediately.
• Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding delays, equipment issues, or delivery concerns.
• Maintain professionalism when interacting with customers, brokers, shippers, and receivers.
• Protect company equipment and follow all established safety procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Possess a valid driver's license and current DOT medical certificate.
• Provide an updated 5-year Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Must meet company driving-record and background-screening requirements.
• Must be able to pass required drug screening.
• Preferably have at least six months of commercial driving experience.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull 50lbs when required.
• Demonstrate strong communication, time management, and dependability.
• Must comply with applicable DOT/FMCSA safety regulations.
• Full-time OTR drivers must be comfortable remaining on the road for up to three weeks at a time.
• Part-time drivers must have weekend availability and flexibility based on load scheduling.

Important Information

Equipment: 26-foot non-CDL box trucks.

Lodging: Our trucks do not have sleeper berths, and the company does not provide lodging. Drivers are responsible for their own lodging expenses when overnight stays are necessary.

Schedule: Full-time OTR opportunities and part-time weekend assignments are available. Weekend work is based on freight demand and is not guaranteed.
