General Manager

We’re opening another location of an established, locally owned luxury pet resort, and we’re looking for a General Manager to build it from the ground up. You’ll lead daily operations at a high-end destination offering luxury boarding, daycare and playgroups, and grooming and spa services, and you’ll shape the culture of a brand-new team from day one.

Reporting directly to the owner, you’ll lead a team of up to 25, create an exceptional experience for guests and the people who love them, and drive the location’s growth through operational excellence, confident leadership, and lasting client and vendor relationships. This role offers a real growth path, with potential to advance into multi-site management, regional operations leadership, and business development. No travel required.

What You’ll Do

• Lead all resort operations across boarding, daycare, grooming, and spa services
• Create memorable experiences for pets and the people who love them
• Recruit, coach, and develop a team of 10 to 25 employees
• Build and manage effective team schedules
• Oversee facility maintenance and manage vendor relationships
• Own budgets, finances, and operational performance
• Uphold safety standards and resort procedures
• Support marketing partnerships and business development initiatives

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of experience in management role
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree
• Working knowledge of budgeting and customer relationship management
• Strong leadership, conflict-resolution, and communication skills
