Commercial Electrician

Pay Range: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and skills.

Outsource is seeking a skilled Commercial Electrician with an active ET card to join our team in Santa Maria, California. This role is ideal for a professional with at least 3 years of hands-on commercial electrical experience who is ready to take on diverse projects in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will work on commercial installations, maintenance, and repair tasks across a variety of job sites.

Job Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs to minimize downtime
• Install conduit, wiring, panels, switches, and lighting fixtures according to code
• Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other trades on job sites
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a commercial electrician
• Active ET (Electrical Trainee) certification required
• Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics
• Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly pay range of $25.00 to $32.00 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and project requirements
