We areseeking aDiagnosticTechnician toperformaccurateand efficient diagnostic work on a wide range of vehicle systems to ensure repairs exceed customer expectations. This role includes diagnosing and resolving complex issues involving emission control systems, electrical and computerized components, drivability problems, transmissions, A/C systems, and four-wheel drive mechanisms. The technician must be proficient in all duties of both Repair and Maintenance Technicians and capable of working independently in various customer locations. Adherence to all safety regulations and proper operation of tools, equipment, and machinery isalways required.The ideal candidate willdemonstratecore behaviors, includingdrive, a desire to learn, speed of execution, attention to detail, reliability, all of which contribute to delivering the exceptional service our customers expect.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and apply growing mechanical knowledge of engine operations, cooling systems, brakes, steering and suspension, HVAC, and general vehicle maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair vehicles accurately, efficiently, and with a level of quality that exceeds customer expectations.
• Perform advanced diagnostic and repair work as assigned, including emission control systems, throttle body injection, electrical and computerized vehicle systems, anti-lock brakes, cruise control, drivability issues, transmissions, A/C systems, and four-wheel drive components.
• Execute all duties of Repair and Maintenance Technician roles as needed to support daily operations.
• Train and mentor service department team members on vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, and repair procedures.
• Assistmanagement with daily operations, including estimating work orders, requisitioning parts,maintainingshop organization, and supervising technicians as needed.
• Safelyoperateall machinery, equipment, and diagnostic tools, including scan tools, DSOs, and smoke machines.
• Always ensure compliance with all company and safety regulations.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Fast-paced automotive service environment.
• Frequentexposure to varying temperatures due to the nature of the work and shop conditions.
• Regular contact with automotive chemicals, including solvents, lubricants, and fluids used in vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Extended periods of standing, bending, and lifting tires or equipment.

• Requires adherence to all safety procedures and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Involves teamwork, reliability, and effective communication tomaintaina safe and efficient workplace.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

• Minimum of5years of experiencein automotive repair.
• CertifiedMaster Technicianwith advanced knowledge and skills in automotive maintenance, removal, replacement, and diagnostics.
• ASE Certificationsin one or more of the following areas:Suspension&Steering,Brakes,Heating & Air Conditioning,Refrigerant Recovery & Recycling,Engine Repair,Electrical/Electronic Systems,Engine Performance,Auto Advanced Engine Performance,Automatic Transmission/Transaxle,Manual Drive Train & Axles.
• Valid Drivers’ LicenseRequired.
