About the Role:
Synergy in Motion LLC is looking for a motivated and compassionate PT Tech to join our dynamic rehabilitation team in Pasadena, MD. Responsibilities:
- Assist physical therapists in delivering patient care and executing treatment plans
- Prepare treatment areas, equipment, and modalities prior to patient sessions
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and document progress under PT supervision
- Apply and monitor physical therapy modalities such as heat, ice, electrical stimulation, and ultrasound
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic and therapy equipment
- Support front desk and administrative functions including scheduling and patient intake as needed
- Communicate effectively with patients, therapists, and staff to ensure a positive patient experience
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework in exercise science, kinesiology, or a related field preferred
- Previous experience as a PT Tech, rehab aide, or in a clinical setting is a plus
- Basic knowledge of physical therapy principles, anatomy, and therapeutic modalities
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Strong interpersonal skills with a patient-centered, empathetic approach
- Ability to stand, lift, and assist patients with mobility for extended periods
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and a collaborative team player
