Quality Control Technician (QC Tech)

Location: Cedar Rapids, IA

Pay: $30/hour DOE

Job Type: Temp-to-Hire

Schedule: 6:30 AM–3:00 PM, with at least one Saturday shift (6:00 AM–12:00 PM)

Job Description:

Seeking an experienced QC Technician to inspect industrial machinery and assemblies, verify quality against mechanical blueprints and Bills of Materials (BOMs), maintain inspection documentation, and coordinate corrective actions with production teams.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of industrial manufacturing quality control experience.

• Strong blueprint and BOM interpretation skills.

• Practical knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.

• Experience inspecting machinery, mechanical assemblies, or machined components.

• Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, and quality documentation.

• Epicor ERP experience preferred.

Note: This role focuses on inspection and documentation, not hands-on repairs. Candidates must complete a competency test, onsite assessments, a panel interview, and pre-employment screening.
