Assembly

SVS Group currently has a full-time opening for an Assembly Technician with one of our manufacturing clients in the Tempe area. You will be responsible for assembling fully enclosed delivery truck boxes made from laser-cut sheet metal. Your role will involve working with a variety of tools to ensure the precise and secure assembly of our truck boxes that are mounted to truck chassis.

Schedule - Monday - Thursday 4:30 am - 3:00 pm (4/10's)

Responsibilities:

• Assemble delivery truck boxes using a variety of tools, including drills, rivet tools, impact drivers, angle grinders, and hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and channel locks.
• Ensure all components are securely fastened and meet our quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Collaborate with team members and report any issues to supervisors.

Qualifications:

• Experience with hand and power tools, including drills, rivet tools, impact drivers, and angle grinders.
• Basic understanding of mechanical assembly and sheet metal work.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to lift and handle materials safely.
