Maintenance Mechanic 3rd Shift

Maintain and troubleshoot production machinery, packaging equipment, facility systems, and other industrial equipment during the third shift. This role supports scheduled preventive maintenance, reactive repair coverage, production-line monitoring, and a mixed maintenance workload, reporting to the maintenance supervisor, shift manager, operations manager, or on-call maintenance lead as appropriate. Occasional after-hours or emergency call-in support is expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform equipment maintenance on production machinery, packaging equipment, facility systems, and mixed industrial equipment.
• Complete scheduled preventive maintenance activities.
• Provide reactive repair coverage and perform breakdown repairs.
• Troubleshoot mechanical systems and diagnose electrical issues.
• Maintain and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Monitor production lines during the third shift and address maintenance needs.
• Conduct safety inspections and maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Complete shift handovers and communicate equipment status and outstanding work.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance.
• Technical certificate in industrial maintenance or a related field.
• Industrial maintenance certification.
• Experience with mechanical systems, electrical troubleshooting, and PLC diagnostics.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, and preventive maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting, safety compliance, and technical documentation skills.
