Woodport Doors is growing, and we're looking for a hands-on, dependable Team Leaderto support daily operations in our warehouse and distribution center. What You'll Be Doing
- Lead and coordinate daily warehouse operations.
- Supervise and support warehouse team members day to day.
- Monitor team members' time and attendance, and address issues as they come up.
- Handle coaching and disciplinary actions fairly and consistently, following company policy.
- Train and mentor warehouse staff on proper handling, safety procedures and company standards.
- Communicate with drivers, sales and office staff to keep orders flowing and customers satisfied.
- Monitor productivity and quality, and help put best practices in place.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Support company values and foster a respectful, team-oriented culture.
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.
What We're Looking For
- 2–4 years of warehouse, distribution or logistics experience; millwork or building materials experience preferred.
- Proven leadership or supervisory experience.
- Strong ability to motivate and develop team members.
- Experience handling long, heavy or irregularly shaped materials like doors, trim or wood products.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and accuracy.
- Basic computer skills, including shipping software, inventory systems and Microsoft Office.
- Forklift certification preferred (or we'll provide it).
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical tasks in a warehouse setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
