Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, inspect, and maintain heavy industrial machinery.

• Diagnose the root cause of equipment failures rather than simply replacing parts.

• Perform precision mechanical maintenance, including motor and gearbox alignment, bearings, pipefitting, and rigging.

• Carry out welding and metal fabrication for repairs and equipment adjustments.

• Service, rebuild, and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

• Assist with electrical troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs within a multi-craft setting.

• Support preventive maintenance routines on steel processing machinery and overhead cranes.

Must-Haves:

• Proven mechanical maintenance background with industrial millwright experience.

• Hands-on proficiency in welding, fabrication, rigging, pipefitting, bearings, and alignments.

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of electrical troubleshooting and repairs.

• Proactive, problem-solving ability, and dedication to safe team collaboration.

• Heavy industrial equipment experience (overhead cranes and steel processing background preferred).

• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week
• working weekends

Skills
• Welding (MIG or Stick) (2 years of experience is required)
• Pipefitting (2 years of experience is preferred)
• Blueprint Reading (2 years of experience is required)
• Mechanical Maintenance (2 years of experience is required)
• Electrical Troubleshooting (2 years of experience is required)
• Root Cause Analysis
• Run Hydraulic + Pneumatic Line
• Align Motors and Gearboxes
• Rigging
