Construction Laborer

KEE Construction is seeking dependable, hardworking Construction Laborers to join our Site Division. In this hands-on role, you will support site development projects by preparing construction sites, moving materials, assisting equipment operators, and helping crews complete projects safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment.
• Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, removing obstacles, and assisting with site layout.
• Dig trenches, backfill excavations, spread materials, and assist with grading activities.
• Assist with concrete and asphalt preparation, mixing, pouring, and finishing as needed.
• Operate hand tools and power tools, including drills, saws, grinders, and jackhammers, when qualified.
• Assist equipment operators, foremen, and skilled tradespeople with daily construction activities.
• Set up, maintain, and remove temporary barriers, braces, and other jobsite structures as directed.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas throughout the project.
• Follow project plans, supervisor instructions, and established safety procedures.
• Identify potential hazards and communicate safety or equipment concerns to supervisors.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous construction, general labor, landscaping, or site development experience preferred.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, bending, standing, and walking for extended periods.
• Basic knowledge of construction tools, materials, and jobsite safety practices.
• Ability to follow instructions, work effectively with a crew, and maintain a positive attitude.
• Dependable attendance, strong work ethic, and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Commitment to following OSHA safety standards and company procedures.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
