About This Opportunity
Judit Inc. is hiring on behalf of one of our largest clients a global technology leader in consumer electronics, semiconductors, and mobile communications. This is a temporary, contract position: you'll be employed by Judit Inc. and work directly alongside our client's team.
The description below is our client's overview of the background, skills, and experience they're looking for. If you meet most but not all of these, we still want to hear from you. Your Judit recruiter will walk you through the day-to-day work, schedule, pay, and contract length before anything moves forward.
What you'll do
You'll turn shopper and retail research into insights that shape how a global consumer electronics brand shows up in stores and online. In this role, you'll run primary and secondary research from brief to final story, manage the research vendors who help deliver it, and give the business clear, actionable recommendations.
- Help deliver the Shopper and Retail Insights learning plan, based on business needs and priorities, through primary and secondary research
- Conduct primary research and use secondary research to produce actionable insights, managing most study setup on your own, with guidance from your manager on more complex studies
- Write comprehensive research briefs, including detailed learning areas and action standards, and gain stakeholder agreement on them
- Set up projects: partner with stakeholders to gather key inputs and stimulus for testing, support questionnaire design, internal reviews, and quality checks, and manage timelines for key phases and deliverables
- Recommend the best research methodology to answer each business question
- Analyze and interpret data, and present insights in a story-driven format that addresses every research objective and includes actionable recommendations
Vendor management
- Identify and evaluate best-fit research vendors through a structured RFP process, including multi-vendor proposal review, pricing negotiation, and capability assessment
- Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for external research vendors, keeping objectives, timelines, and deliverables aligned
- Hold vendors to quality standards, milestones, and budgets, and flag and resolve issues early
- Assess vendor performance and maintain a roster of preferred partners across qualitative, quantitative, and syndicated research
- Partner with Procurement and Legal on vendor onboarding, contract management, and compliance
- Track the external vendor landscape for new and emerging research partners and capabilities
What you'll bring
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Product Management, Sales, or a related field
- 5-7 years of experience analyzing consumer data and providing insights that drive the business, including research methods and statistics
- Current knowledge of research and analytical techniques, especially primary quantitative and qualitative research
- Deep experience in shopper-focused insights
- A track record managing research vendors and agency partners, including RFP development, contract negotiation, and ongoing performance management, and delivering projects on time and within budget
- The ability to bring together data and insights from different sources to guide consultative decisions
Nice to have
- Syndicated research experience (e.g., IRI, Circana, Nielsen)
- Shopper Marketing or Channel Marketing experience
- Experience managing an online research community
