NOW HIRING – DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL (DSP)
Pigeon Forge, Tennessee Part-Time – Approximately 8 Hours Per Week
Heart of Tennessee Home Care LLC is looking for a dependable, energetic, and supportive Direct Support Professional (DSP) to work one-on-one with an adult receiving ECF CHOICES services.
This position is focused on helping the individual build independence and everyday life skills. We are looking for someone who enjoys teaching, coaching, encouraging, and helping others reach their personal goals.
Responsibilities may include: • Teaching and reinforcing independent living skills • Supporting employment and work-related skills • Helping with community-based activities • Encouraging independence and confidence • Following the individual’s person-centered support plan • Completing required service documentation
We’re looking for someone who is: • Patient, dependable, positive, and energetic • Comfortable taking a teacher/coach approach • Experienced working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities • Autism experience is a plus • Able to maintain professional boundaries • Reliable and committed to providing consistent support
Requirements: • Background screening • CPR/First Aid • Required training upon hire • Reliable transportation • Valid driver’s license and auto insurance if transportation is required
Schedule: Approximately 8 hours per week, with the possibility of additional hours in the future based on the individual’s needs and authorization.
