LEAD QUALITY ENGINEER – ADHESIVES MANUFACTURING

Seabrook, NH | Full-time direct hire | 100% onsite | Local candidates only no relocation assistance

Gabriella & Co. is partnering with the Adhesive Technologies division of a global chemical and consumer goods manufacturer to hire a Lead Quality Engineer at its Seabrook, NH plant. You will own the site quality program, lead root cause and CAPA work, maintain the ISO 9001 quality management system, and supervise a small quality team.

What you’ll own

• Site quality program and QMS maintenance, including ISO 9001 compliance and internal/external audits
• Root cause investigations, CAPA, nonconformance management and customer complaint resolution
• Quality improvement projects using Six Sigma, Lean, 8D, FMEA and SPC
• Quality documentation: procedures, work instructions, control plans and inspection records
• Cross-functional work with manufacturing, engineering, operations and supply chain to improve product and process quality
• Supplier quality and incoming material qualification
• Leadership and mentoring of quality technicians and engineers

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering
• 6+ years of quality engineering in chemical manufacturing adhesives, sealants, coatings, polymers or specialty materials
• Experience implementing and maintaining a QMS, including ISO 9001
• Hands-on root cause, CAPA, 8D, FMEA and SPC experience
• Prior experience leading or supervising a team, even a small one
• Experience with customer complaints, nonconformances and audits
• Located within commuting distance of Seabrook, NH, or able to relocate at your own expense
