Physical Therapist

Per Diem Positions Available, including weekend coverage.

62.83 per hour

The Physical Therapist is responsibleunder the direction of the department head, for evaluating, developing treatment programs and treatment of patients. Performs Physical Therapy procedures to restore function, prevent disability and maximize the potential and quality of life following illness, disease, injury, surgery or disuse. Provides treatment of patients, collaborates with physicians and other members or care team, completes required billing and documentation, etc.

As a representative of the Rehabilitation department, and of the organization, it is required that the Physical Therapist perform the essential functions of the job in a professional manner, with a positive attitude and is aware and supportive of the mission, vision, resident Bill of Rights, policies and procedures of the organization.

Must be:

Licensed as a Physical Therapist in NYS

Graduate of accredited PT School, BS, MS, or certification in Physical Therapy

Minimum 2 years experience

Must have computer literacy, EMR used is Point Click Care (PCC)
