The 63rd RD (Readiness Division) is responsible for all US Army Reserve owned properties throughout the southwest states - 7 states with over 190 buildings.

All contractor employees are required to get a background screening through the Defense Department. Once completed, the contact employee will get a CAC (Common Access Card). The CAC will allow entry to the military installation, the building, and is required to logon to all USAR computers.

  • Assist your RD in determining the severity and scope of repairs for all USAR owned buildings.
  • Review fire protection inspection reports (by others) and create memos that can be understood and acted upon by AR personnel.
  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations to educate both AR personnel and command staff on the importance and proper use of fire protection systems, as well as fire prevention.
  • Send out quarterly fire messages to the entire command.
  • Development of a database with information for all fire protection equipment located in buildings maintained by the RD.
