Property Management Coordinator:Freeport, Illinois
Our customer in Freeport, Illinois is seeking a professional and customer-focused Community Manager to oversee the daily operations of a residential property. This position is responsible for resident communications, rent collection, administrative support, work order coordination, and ensuring a positive experience for residents and visitors.
Responsibilities of theProperty Management Coordinator:
- Oversee day-to-day property operations and office activities.
- Collect rent payments and maintain accurate resident records.
- Answer phones and respond to resident inquiries and concerns.
- Log and track resident communications and interactions.
- Enter and monitor maintenance work order requests.
- Assist residents, prospective residents, vendors, and visitors in a professional manner.
- Maintain accurate documentation and administrative records.
- Coordinate with maintenance and property management teams to ensure resident needs are addressed.
- Help maintain occupancy goals and resident satisfaction.
- Support leasing activities if properly licensed.
Property Management CoordinatorRequirements and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Leasing License preferred.
- Candidates without a Leasing License may be considered for administrative and on-site support duties.
- Previous customer service, office administration, property management, or related experience preferred.
- Real estate knowledge is a plus.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with computers, email, and basic office software.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records.
- Professional demeanor and strong attention to detail.
Pay forProperty Management Coordinator:$20-$25/hour, depending on experience.
