Staff Accountant

Are you a detail-oriented financial professional passionate about driving growth and accuracy? At Creative Solutions in Healthcare, we’re seeking a motivated Staff Accountant to ensure sound financial reporting and support across our long-term care facilities. In this role, you’ll collaborate with regional leaders, maintain high accounting standards, and contribute to our mission of exceptional care.

As a key member of our Accounting team, you will:

• Lead month-end close processes, including journal entries, bank reconciliations, and balance sheet analysis

• Maintain and update prepaid schedules, fixed asset records, and variance explanations

• Prepare financial reports and variance analyses across multiple facilities

• Track and analyze performance trends and key metrics by facility and region

• Communicate financial insights to Area Directors and facility leaders

• Support the Controller with special projects and ad hoc reporting

Required:

• 3–5 years of financial reporting experience

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with major ERP software (Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains preferred)

Highly Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field

• Experience in senior healthcare or long-term care

• Familiarity with multi-entity financial reporting

• Strong analytical and communication skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
