Position Summary

We are seeking a Packaging Project Manager to join our team working in the pharmaceutical packaging industry. In this role, you will provide hands-on project management, coordinate technical and validation resources, and help ensure projects are executed successfully, on schedule, and within established scope and deliverables.

Working as part of the Leadership Team, you will play an important role in project planning, resource coordination, risk identification, and issue resolution. This is an opportunity for a proactive project manager who enjoys working with cross-functional teams, solving problems, and making meaningful contributions to project success.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Execution

  • Provide direct project management support for assigned active projects, from initiation through successful completion.
  • Lead project meetings to provide oversight, guidance, and support to team members.
  • Maintain project scope, schedules, milestones, deliverables, and day-to-day execution activities.
  • Communicate regularly with customer project managers regarding project status, schedules, deliverables, and emerging issues.

Leadership & Resource Coordination

  • Maintain resource plans across active projects to support effective workload distribution and team utilization.
  • Update and maintain the project schedule in Microsoft Project.

Risk Management & Issue Resolution

  • Serve as an initial escalation point for project-related questions, scope concerns, resource needs, and project execution challenges.
  • Provide feedback to management regarding team performance, project status, project issues, and emerging risks.
